Effective September 17, 2026. Diversified Excavating & Site Utilities, LLC ("Diversified Excavating", "we") operates diversifiedexc.com.

What we collect

When you request an estimate, apply for a job, call, or text us, we receive the details you provide: name, phone number, email, project address, project description, and any resume or attachments. Separately, our website runs analytics and session-replay tools that record how pages get used — see Website analytics and session replay below.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond about your project or application, schedule site visits, and perform the work you request. We may reply by phone call or email using the contact information you give us. We text quote-form applicants only when they separately select the optional SMS checkbox, or when a customer starts a text conversation with us.

Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information

Program: Diversified Excavating & Site Utilities, LLC customer care messaging, sent from our business line (734) 802-2358. On our Ann Arbor quote forms, SMS consent uses an optional checkbox that starts unchecked. You may submit a quote request without selecting it. Consent to text messages is not a condition of purchase. If you select the checkbox, we may send customer-care texts about your quote request, scheduling, and service updates. We may also reply when you independently text our published business number.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, email diversifiedexc@gmail.com, or call (734) 487-6454. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our SMS terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your phone number and consent are used only to reply to you about your own project.

Website analytics and session replay

Two analytics tools run on every page of this site. Clicky (site 101511239) counts page views, referrers and clicks. Microsoft Clarity (project yjw7lycpwe) captures behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replay — a playback of how a visit moved through a page, so we can see where a layout or a form is losing people. We read both to fix the website, not to identify you.

Clarity sets two first-party cookies on this site, _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft sets third-party cookies including MUID, which Microsoft says it uses for advertising, site analytics and other operational purposes. Clarity's masking is set to Balanced: numbers and email addresses are hidden before anything leaves your browser, and whatever you type into input boxes and drop-downs is masked in every masking mode, including on our quote and job-application forms. A replay shows that a field was filled in, not what you put in it.

We show no cookie banner on this site. Clarity applies consent by region on our behalf: visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get no Clarity cookies, their visits are not stitched together into one session, and no full replay is recorded for them.

Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days. Recordings we mark as favorites, plus a random sample, are kept for up to nine months. Heatmaps and aggregate metrics are kept as summary data.

Third parties including Microsoft may collect personal data from visitors to this site. Microsoft collects or receives that data to provide Microsoft Advertising. What Microsoft does with it is described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and communications (hosting, form delivery, phone and text carrier), and only as needed to deliver those services.

Retention and your choices
